Legend has it that when the famous Bette Davis was being interviewed on a talk show, she was asked what advice she has for actors trying to make it in Hollywood. Her response: “Take Fountain.”
As people who move to Hollywood eventually discover, taking Fountain Ave. is usually a lot quicker than taking Santa Monica Blvd. or Sunset Blvd.
I have adapted Ms. Davis’ philosophy to capture the essence of my goal: To help actors avoid the unnecessary obstacles and detours encountered in pursuing their career by sharing experiences of those who have gone before them. Like Fountain itself, this is a two-way street. I hope that you will not only learn from others who contribute to this site, but that you will, in return, contribute your experiences to it as well.
